By reviewing and understanding this week's topic, multiple examples of BioTech and Art were brought to my head. When i was younger i used to always watch this movie called "Small Soldiers". In this movie, a boy buys a pack of new action figures called the Commando Elite and he's unaware of them being programmed with military intelligence. These highly intelligent action figures are built to destroy the Gorgonites ( a set of action figures the boy already owns). This war between the toys causes havoc on the boys neighborhood and ends up destroying his house. I feel this is a great example of BioTech + Art because scientists inserted these child-like action figures with military technology and this ended up back firing.

I also thought the article about a plant called Super weed was really interesting as well. According to the University of Delaware scientists, this invasive plant has poison that is uses to get rid of its neighbors is evolving. Scientists believe that UV Rays from the Sun are increasings the plants poison and its ruining the environments around the plants. The scientists even say that 10 to 20 years, this plants phragmites will destroy nesting areas for birds, it must be controlled immediately!

From watching Jurassic Parks hundreds of times, i felt it also fit perfectly with what we were reviewing this week. I'm going to discuss the newest movie called Jurassic World. In Jurassic World, genetically engineered dinosaurs are put on for show on a island. But their is one dinosaur that has been giving to much intelligence and its name is Indominus Rex. This dinosaur extremely intelligent dinosaur escapes and sets off an array havoc among the island and all the visitors on it. I felt this movie was a perfect example because these scientists created dinosaurs (which are obviously extinct and for a reason) and this seemingly seems like a great idea but this once again backfires.
